CDPSE, a unique experience-based certification, enables organizations to identify technologists skilled in embedding privacy by design into platforms, products, and processes, collaborating with legal experts, and ensuring cost-effective compliance. It validates privacy technologists’ ability to integrate privacy into networks, platforms, and products, enhancing trust and minimizing noncompliance risks.
To apply for the CDPSE certification, you should have three years’ experience in Privacy Governance (Governance, Management and Risk Management), Privacy Architecture (Infrastructure, Applications/Software and Technical Privacy Controls) and Data Lifecycle (Data Purpose and Data Persistence).

Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer Training Course (CDPSE)
The ISACA CSPSE exam is an MCQ with 120 questions based on the following 3 areas:
- Privacy Governance (34%)
- Privacy Architecture (36%)
- Data Lifecycle (30%)
The exam is 3 hours in duration and needs to be scheduled via an approved PSI Center. Please note: The CDPSE exam is only available in English, however, a glossary of terminology is provided by ISACA on their website in multiple languages.
The CDPSE Continuing Professional Development Program (CPE) requires the validation of at least 20 hours of CPE per year and 120 hours of CPE every three years.
