Courses Overview
CSX-P is a performance-based certification that validates your ability to handle real-world cybersecurity incidents.
People who hold a CSX Cybersecurity Practitioner (CSX-P) certification have proven they can do a variety of hands-on cybersecurity jobs.[1] They are tested on their ability to perform real-world tasks, not just answer questions.
This was the first certification of its kind to test cybersecurity skills in a live, simulated computer environment.[1] It confirms that a person can find and solve security problems on computer networks and systems. When you see someone with a CSX-P, you know their skills have been tested and proven across five important areas of security.
Cybersecurity practitioners, SOC staff, penetration testers.
It demonstrates applied skills in live environments, not just theory.
Employers recognize CSX-P as proof of hands-on cyber defense expertise.
To get the CSX-P certification, candidates had to pass a tough, 4-hour practical exam.[1] The test had no multiple-choice questions.[1] Instead, they worked on different computers in a virtual setting to complete security tasks with very little guidance.[1] This showed they had real-world knowledge and skills.
