Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, enrolling in a course, or booking an exam with Computer Pride, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Course Registration and Payment
Enrollment: Registration for courses is subject to availability. A seat is only guaranteed once full or agreed partial payment has been received.
Payment Terms: All fees must be paid prior to the commencement of the course unless a corporate payment plan or installment agreement has been explicitly approved by management.
Pricing: Prices for our courses and exams are subject to change without notice. However, once you have paid for a course or exam, you will not be affected by subsequent price increases for that specific enrollment.
3. Cancellations, Transfers, and Refunds
Cancellations by Student: Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the course start date may be eligible for a full refund minus an administrative fee. Cancellations made within 7 days are non-refundable but may be eligible for a credit note.
Transfers: You may request to transfer your enrollment to a future date or another course, subject to availability and an administrative fee, provided the request is made at least 3 days before the original course starts.
Cancellations by Computer Pride: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to low enrollment, trainer unavailability, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, students will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to the rescheduled date.
4. Exam Bookings
Exam vouchers and bookings (including Pearson VUE and Prometric) are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased or scheduled.
It is the candidate's responsibility to arrive at the testing center at least 15 minutes before the scheduled exam time with the required valid, government-issued identification.
Failure to appear for a scheduled exam will result in the forfeiture of the exam fee.
5. Intellectual Property
All training materials, including digital content, physical books, lab environments, and presentations provided during courses, are the intellectual property of Computer Pride or its vendor partners (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, AWS). These materials are provided for your personal educational use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or sold without express written permission.
6. User Conduct
Students are expected to conduct themselves professionally while on Computer Pride premises or participating in online virtual classes. We reserve the right to dismiss any student without a refund if their behavior is disruptive, abusive, or violates any safety or security policies.
7. Limitation of Liability
Computer Pride shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of our training services.
8. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
